I’m reblogging this simply for my note on this post:
All jokes aside, I hated it. I do think it’s important to switch to a browser that doesn’t sell your shit. I think it’s super important, but I use Chrome because it runs the best. I had constant issues with Firefox. (This included: crashing, not loading, loading too slow, blocking websites that are safe, etc. It made my life significantly harder and far more annoying. This post however has inspired me to give it another try, but if something makes your life harder (IN THIS ECONOMY?!) I wish you the best of luck retaining any of your sanity.
Also, yes I’ve had problems with Chrome before but only about 4 times in the last 20+ years. I prefer reliable stability. (Something my internet provider and I severely lack)

i recently made a new reshade preset for the sims 4 after switching back to 3.0.8! this preset is called strawberry milk tea
♡ important info ♡
- this preset was created with 3.0.8
- make sure to turn off edge smoothing in your game options
- i highly recommend downloading the shaders & textures from this preset (specifically the qUINT shaders)
- turn off MXAO & DOF for smoother gameplay (i put hotkeys to turn them on/off faster)
- follow this tutorial to learn how to download older versions of reshade

CITRUS DROPS - A RESHADE PRESET
i’ve always wanted to make my own reshade preset, and i finally got round to it!
this preset comes in two flavours - version #1 and #2. they are both similar except version two’s blur is more intense than version one’s.
- this reshade was made using 3.0.8 - it should still work with other versions but this cannot be confirmed!
- you must have the correct shaders. they can be downloaded from here.
- the file will also include some extra shaders (there are instructions in the zip file).
- this was made for taking screenshots more than gameplay. be careful!
- *turn off edge smoothing in your settings*
- i take no credit for the shaders in the download. i only made the presets!
you can find previous versions of reshade here!
there are also a couple of toggle keys to keep in mind :)
- caps lock - toggles blur (mainly for version 1)
- f7 - toggles MXAO
the download is 26.4 kb and includes the reshades, as well as instructions and the extra shaders!

They're willing to lie, steal, cheat, bully, oppress, rape, etc to get what they want, and their appetites are never sated, so they never stop lying, cheating, etc. You don't get that kind of money through hard honest work. If you're willing to be a big enough piece of shit, you could easily be one of these guys.
So yeah, if someone's offering that choice, get it in writing and stay the hell away from these creeps.
